Devil Remixed

Last night I remixed The Devil Went Down To Georgia, and came out with three mixes, one of which I like better than the others due to a slight treble boost in the mastering stage.

Anyhow, without any more ado, I give you:

The Devil Went Down To Georgia remix [MP3, 192kbps, 3m48s, 5.3Mb]

Comments welcome!

    Sounds cool :)

Y’know, I reckon the vocals could take a bit more level… or maybe some sort of EQ’ing to bring them out a bit more.

Cool, I was thinking the same thing myself. I found a couple of tips about EQing vocals to make them pop out a little more, so I’ll have a fiddle with that for the next mix.

    Cheers Adrian,

Another nice one sir. One day I’ll have to come round and cut yer arms off…. it’s the only way we lesser mortals will ever catch up with you.
Seriously, some EQ on the vox, and possibly a touch of reverb too. How about a little compression with all the other tracks used to “duck” the vocals. Maybe this would let them become slightly more prominent.

What the hell do I know??? But it still sounds great. How about doing it at notWigan?

    cheers
