For what I believe to be the first time in my life, I have actually started the Christmas shopping in November. I’m usually a Christmas Eve shopper, purely through lack of organisation, but this time I am ahead of the game. 4 presents bought! 2 of those are for the fiancée (though that’s by no means her sorted) and the others are for two of the guys in the band.
I can’t put into words how pleasing this is. Perhaps this year I can spend Christmas Eve the right way - drinking and/or relaxing with friends.
We shall see.
