		<description>I discounted Neo offhand from a mostly "Too fucking powerful" standpoint. I mean, either you're in Neo's universe, in which case he's effectively got supreme power, or you're not, in which case he's just an average Joe.

Buffy is interesting though. I would never have thought of her, because I can't fucking stand the program, but she certainly fits the criteria.

		<description>I like the Rat as much as the next man, probably more, but I'm not sure he belongs in the order.  I would have thought the Saint a better candidate (nb: very definitely not the tv version, rather Charteris's supremely excellent book-hero).

My fave from the series is the Stainless Steel Rat For President, which I reckon has some resonance today.</description>
