Excuse me…

…but exactly what is wrong with sending your child to a better school if you have the money to do so?

Please? Apparently it’s the most awful thing in the world, according to the media today. I fail to see the problem.

Caitlin, I’m with you.

I think it’s the fact that the Labour Party are supposed to be champions of state-provided education, which makes her a hypocrite in some people’s eyes. Nobody blinks an eye when a Tory sends their kids to an independent school because they are champions of private provision.

I think that the whole brouhaha is bollocks - haven’t we got better things to worry about? However, I take issue with anyone who claims that state schooling is inferior simply because it is publicly-funded. You can get a damn good education in many state schools.
