   We have seen a few “larger than average” spiders in our house over the last few weeks.

   I killed a “huge” one a few weeks back that was on our bedroom curtain. I had palpatations whilst inching closer to it.

   My wife and myself were both laughing hysterically (even manically) whilst I plucked up the courgae to kill it. I hit it so hard with a rolled up road atlas (the big AA one), that I almost put it through the window and hurt my wrist in one deft movement … BANG!

   We do not like spiders of any size or shape in our house.

   I was awoken the other day by shouts saying there was a large spider in the bathroom - thinking that it would be some unrationally small spider, I went armed with a pint glass and a piece of card. The legs were bigger than the pint glass!!! Thankfully I caught it quickly before it started biting chunks out of my leg!
