I’m a touch puzzled. Let me tell you why.
Over the weekend, I was informed by one of the other monkeys that we’d been approached via email by a band called Skintight Jaguars with a view to us supporting them at some London gigs, which is exactly what we’re after at the moment.
This is superb news, and a couple of us are going to go see them play in Camden tonight and hopefully have a chat with them about gigs and that.
But we wondered how they’d found us. So on mooching round their site a little, we found an entry in their guestbook recommending us to them, made by a chap called Paul Hanness, who on his links page has not only LM, but also this site right here, cm.com. I find this a teeny bit strange, as to my knowledge I don’t know the guy at all! Of course, it’s possible that I do know him, as my memory is utterly terrible, but I don’t think I do. I’m unable to turn up a photo of him at the moment, so I can’t be sure.
So that’s the nature of my puzzlement - who are you, Paul Hanness? Whoever you are, though, thanks for recommending us to the Jaguars! Let me buy you a beer sometime!

Joffy obviously didn’t explain to you about Paul Hanness - or my ‘guitar guru’ as he knows him.
Basically the guitarist from Skintight Jags approached Paul with their new CD in a club in London when he was having a beer with the guitarist from Maleficent. Paul’s rated the Little Monkeys -& your solo stuff- ever since I gave him the LM CD a few months ago & is fully aware of how well the Jags are doing - knows them mainly from Bruce Dickinson’s radio show. He just put 2 and 2 together & thought it’d be a great opportunity for LM to get out of Hastings + get some gigs in London!!! I think Paul just feels sorry for any musician who lives in Hastings (including me!!!)!
Just a mate doing some mates of mine a favour!!!!!!!
I think Paul + his drummer ALF are at the gig tonight as well. If they recognise you, I’m sure they’ll say hello.
