I’ve been meaning for some time to offer you people some video content of me playing live, but there have been Factors.
i) File size. I have enormous recordings from Jemfest 2003 and my gig at the Cornford Club, but they are unmanageably huge files, which leads me to
ii) PC limitations. My home machine is a PIII 1Ghz, and simply not up to handling and editing 1Gb video files, so I can’t cut chunks out easily.
iii) Hosting. I have only limited webspace, chunks of which are in constant flux, so hosting whacking great ~50Mb video files is a little impractical.
However, I was quite please to find the other day, while rummaging on a friend’s FTP server, a short clip of me demoing at last year’s Music Live, on the excellent Arrowhead Guitars/Tipton Amps stand.

It was none other than Mr. Phone himself, Paul Simpson, who recorded that. He was bluetoothing it round at Wigan.
