Gee Three!

Off tonight to see the marvellous G3 tonight at the Royal Albert Hall, and I can’t wait.

I am probably one of the country’s biggest fans of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. In fact it was the two of them who made me realise that I wanted to play instrumental guitar rock music. You could say that my album is basically a tribute to the two of them, in essence, as their music has been such an influence on me over the years. And ever since sitting up watching the “Metal Night” of the Expo ‘92 festival in Seville on the TV late at night, I’ve been dying to see them both on the same stage - and tonight it will happen! And I’ll be there! Fucking rocktastic!

Looking forward to Robert Fripp also, despite mixed reviews, as all instrumental rock and no soundscapes makes Jack a dull boy. Should be a great gig! :-D

Robert Clive? Never heard of him. :-)

Robert Fripp, on the other hand, was very interesting and I liked his “Soundscape” music. There were those present, as at other gigs, who believe music is only music if there are 16 notes minimum per bar, and who made their opinions known loudly. But fucktards aside, it was a great gig all round.
