Well, I finally got round to seeing Matrix Reloaded last night, and holy dribbling jesus, it was good. Slick and astounding throughout, and with [gasp!] a great plot, it gets my award for film of the year so far - an award that in 2002 would probably have gone to The Two Towers.

The very wonderful Doug at blackmachine is building me a guitar. It is going to be incredible.
Currently, it looks like this, and I am a very excited rabbit.

Passport to the pub

Discovered while idly browsing Rick’s archive, Passport to the pub is a serious guide to British pubgoing for tourists, and serves as a quietly amusing dissection of our drinking and social habits.

Return to the land of the living

I got a job! Yay!
It’s been a while since I had proper employment, so I’m heartily grateful that I have now landed gainful wossname with the excellent Dare Digital.
Marvellous!

Retromatic

Kneel and give praise for the wonder that is ebay.
I have managed to source and win that most righteous of retro 8-bit consoles, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, or SNES, and that most furrilous and underwired multiplayer game, Super Bomberman 2.
Ahhhhh… it’s all coming flooding back.
